The United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) are our framework for sustainable business, and act as a guide for Pyrra’s social and environmental commitments. Of the goals, we identify most strongly with #16, which aligns strongly with our own mission.

Environmental Responsibility

Pyrra strives to maintain a small carbon footprint:

  • We don't have an office - our entire team works remotely throughout the US and Europe
  • Business travel is light - while we love to get together, the majority of our work is achieved via video call
  • Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - when it comes to e-waste, we only purchase what we need, we re-use it where we can, and when it's time for an upgrade, we securely recycle our hardware
  • Digital Processes - we do everything online (unless mandated by law)

We have an obligation to build and use technology responsibly. We don’t build a product just because we can, but first ask whether or not we should.  Every member of our team shares in this responsibility, and is committed to working towards building a safer internet.
